The Fantastix Team
 at the Fair

A “Fantastic” Month!
Where do we begin describing a very busy but wonderful month? Valerie spent a lot of the month training the 21 sixth-grade girls from the local school with their Easter stick drama. The “FANTASTIX” performed three times for school assemblies, including the school’s Easter Assembly, and made a special appearance at the Rotary Club’s Autumn Fair. A half-page story about the team even ran in the local paper. We received many compliments on their performances and are making plans now for them to perform again this Christmas. Please pray that the Easter message spoke to the hearts of the girls performing and the hundreds of people who saw it. We hope we can get the girls to perform at our church soon. It would be a great opportunity for them and their families to get a first-hand look at our ministry. On Palm Sunday we held our annual Easter Eggstravaganza. We were very thrilled to have 16 children attend and 31 people at our Worship Service. Three families were first-time guests! On the 29th we set up a booth at the Rotary Club’s Autumn Fair. We were very pleased with the turnout. We presented the Gospel to over 50 children using the Wordless Bracelet. Over a hundred people came by our booth that day and many took one of our new brochures. Four women signed up interested in our ladies craft night. Overall it was a huge success. We plan to do it again next year. The last week of April we will be letterboxing (putting our brochures in mailboxes) to over 2650 homes. This will be the week after autumn holidays when a lot of new people will have moved into our area. We have printed an attractive, professional brochure about our ministry. Please be in prayer that they will be well-received and we will get some response.

Upcoming Events and Prayer Requests
We have a lot going on in April including a Men’s Retreat the 25th-27th. Dwayne will be taking several men up to the Great Snowy Mountains for a weekend of fellowship and fishing. He plans to have several devotion times with the men. At least one of the men attending doesn’t know the Lord so pray that his heart will be stirred. We have begun a Thursday night Prayer Meeting. We are inviting our people to come out on Thursdays to pray for the ministry and one another. We hope that this will be a special time to really lift up our ministry in prayer. Valerie will have a ladies craft night on the last Tuesday of the month. We’re praying that the ladies we contacted at the fair will attend. We may have an opportunity coming up soon to purchase some land in the area. Since land is a scarce commodity here we will need to move quickly to secure finance backing to make this move. In order to have a greater impact on our community, having our own place of worship is vital. This will be a major expense and a major step of faith. Please be in prayer for this project. Contact Dwayne if your ministry would like to help contribute. Once again thank you for your faithfulness in prayers and finances to help us minister here!!!
