I asked
the Lord to use me
So He gave me a mission:
Go into this world my child
And do a little fishin'!
Such
a simple request I thought
So crazy did it seem
Until I opened up His Word
To Matthew 4:19.
There
is a dying world out there
Full of sickness and sin.
It is up to you and me
To be fishermen of men.
So many
out there searching,
So many souls are lost.
We cannot take the time
To just wait and count the costs.
We must
cast out our nets
And bring the people in
Before the devil traps them
In their worlds of sin.
Our
ships will set sail
Upon many a rough wave
But it will be worth it all
If people's souls are saved.
We have
so much to tell them,
So much we have to share,
But they won't come to us
We must go out there.
Be a
witness to the world.
Don't make it just a wish.
There's no limit to what the Lord can do
If we just take the time to go fish!
