I’m taking a step in the right direction.
I’m moving my feet where God wants me to go.
I’ll never look back, ‘cause I’ve been forgiven.
God cleansed my heart and made me whole.
Fortunately now, I’m a new creation.
Check it out, the old me is gone!
Now I have something I can look forward to.
I’m making my way to my heavenly home.
Would you like to have this joy I’m feeling?
Would you like to know this peace that I’ve found?
It all begins by trusting in Jesus.
Plant your feet on some solid ground.
My friend, take a minute and look deep within.
Take a look at yourself and your selfish pride.
God has everything you’ve ever searched for.
Just open your heart and let Him inside.
We’re gonna be here for just a little season.
The time is short that we’ll be here on earth.
But, my friend, it doesn’t have to end here
In Jesus Christ you can have a new birth.
Just be serious and take a look at yourself.
Aren’t you tired of the pain and the strife?
Let it all go, give it to Jesus.
Let Him take control of your life.
Walk with me in the right direction.
Move your feet where God wants you to go.
Don’t ever look back, you can be forgiven.
Let God cleanse your heart and make you whole!
