Prayer Letter

Nov - Dec  2007

Dear Friends,

Satan is working overtime to destroy this work, as he must be doing world wide. He knows his days are numbered. It would be so easy to become discouraged; however we know God is still in control and working His plan.

Praise the Lord for…

  1. the McGeorge family – Joel, who is 15, has become the Song Leader and also brings a message once in a while; Emma, Tessa & Shanna join Joel in singing specials with Dad playing the guitar; John (dad) is willing to fill in with a message as needed. The whole family, including mom & grandparents, is a wonderful testimony of a Christian Christ-based family.

  2. the Gardiner family – Callum and Tammy who volunteered to take over all of the church needs in printing as their mission project, which include tracts, tea-time roster & the Sunday morning bulletins. Tammy is also part of the Sunday school teachers.

  3. the Curtis family – just had a beautiful baby daughter added to their family. Janna is one of our Sunday school teachers.

  4. we praise the Lord for our other families who are attending services, Kinette who has been playing the piano while she is here.

Prayer requests needed for…

  1. souls to be saved and stabilized in serving the Lord

  2. we had planned our furlough next year as it has been 7 years or more since we have reported to some of you. With the resignation of Pastor Philip Lloyd, the church is praying for a full-time pastor or missionary to take over the work.

  3. our financial situation as the American dollar is losing ground and there is expectation that the Kiwi dollar will continue to rise. The petrol price here is $1.68 a litre, rents average $400 per week, and even though it is an importers market the savings are not passed on to the Kiwi people.

We love and appreciate every one of you, and thank you for letting us be an extension of your ministry. Our prayers are with you.

Co-laborers together,
