Making Disciples
Our Lord Jesus Christ gave us the commission to go and Make Disciples. Ever since we first came to Australia in 1975 we have tried various methods of disciple making. This year the Lord laid on our hearts to really emphasize our “Home Groups” as a way of Making Disciples. We asked God to orchestrate the whole ministry as we endeavored to get as many people as possible into a Home Group.

The results are that we have 4 healthy Home Groups, one Ladies Bible Study, and one Evangelistic Outreach Group. We can truly say that God has answered our prayer in orchestrating all of this. We could never have done that in our own strength.

Evangelism
Evangelism is the first step in Making Disciples and we are excited about the opportunities that God has given us recently. Once every school term we have the opportunity to be in the local public schools for what is called Christian Education. This last two weeks we were able to share the Good Friday and Easter story to hundreds of primary (elementary) age children through this ministry. Not only do the children hear the Gospel but the teachers and staff as well. What an amazing opportunity it is, Praise the Lord!

Our evangelistic outreach group is definitely something God has been putting together. An Italian Catholic family that we have been reaching out to for the last couple of years invited us to have a Bible Study in their home. They said that they wanted to learn about God and the Bible. For the last two weeks there have been 8 of us at this group.

Prayer Requests

1. For the Lord to continue to put together the Discipleship Ministry that He wants for His
    Glory.
2. For this precious Italian family and their friends who are meeting with us.
