Prayer Letter?
Usually what we call a prayer letter is really a Report Letter. Because we missionaries want to let you know that exciting things are happening on the field. And we do have some exciting things happening.

But I want to make this one a real Prayer Letter. Lately we have been really burdened by the fact that we now have over 30,000 people in Gungahlin and we are the only Baptist Church and we only average about 100 on Sunday mornings, and the other gospel preaching churches are small as well.

So we have started praying this way: “Lord, let the Holy Spirit move so in our hearts that we would truly be Revived. Convict us of our sins, and humble us, break us, and forgive us. Then fill us with the Holy Spirit as the early church was filled with the Holy Spirit and preached the Word of God with boldness. Because you are the Lord of the Harvest and you told us to ask that you would send forth laborers into the Harvest, we ask that you will empower us to reach every single person in our suburb with the Gospel.

We ask that you would draw thousands of lost people to yourself that they might be saved. We pray that you will be glorified and that the name of the Lord Jesus Christ would be lifted up and exalted and honored. We know you will answer this prayer because you said that you would build your church! So thank you for the amazing things you are going to do in Gungahlin. In Jesus Name we Pray, Amen”
