Port Vila, Vanuatu Vol. 11 No. 3

The school year is going great. Our kids are working hard and our kindergarten kids are now emerging readers!
We have had a couple from the States who have sent two boxes of books for our school library! One lady flew up from Australia and brought a suitcase with books for our library as well as small bottles of bubbles for them. We praise the Lord for book as they are hard to come by here. Back to school sales are just around the corner. Some you have sent flat rate boxes filled with “cheap” Wal-Mart and Walgreen crayons in past years. This has really helped us keep our cost for this ministry down.
To donate crayons or pencils for the school ministry, you can send them to the office or directly to us as “donated gift”. Please let us know to look for the box. We so appreciate your help.
Please also pray for a new photocopier as our is worn out now and breaks regularly.

Lynn's Update

Lynn’s ready to start the second half of chemo. She has had very few side effects. (mostly loss of her hair and fatigue) We are asking our prayer warriors to please continue praying the new drugs will be tolerated as well as the first half. She has kept her smile and sense of humor through it all. We are also able to share with some of the other patients. Pray our lives through this will glorify our Lord.

Building
Again !

We have completed the new fence around the acre of school ground. The money for this phase has been raised primarily by the school canteen and parent’s fundraising efforts last year and this year.
The plans are to be submitted this week for our building permit. As soon as it is obtained we will break ground for this new two story building. Please pray the weather will cooperate with us where we can have it ready for the new school year in February.
We are exercising our faith as we do not have money to complete the project but are confident it is the Lord’s timing. We know with God all things are possible.
