Trials, Victories & Blessings! |
TRIALS:
David Walker Medical Update
As many of you know, our son David (16) experienced an
“Ischemic” stroke back in February. As a result of that he
lost half of his sight in his left eye. He is continuing to
undergo more testing and results should be available soon.
However, we are pleased to announce that his eye is
“healing”. His eyesight loss is permanent, but the eye
itself is no longer under any danger of “blowing up” and is
recovering from the stroke itself. Please continue to pray
for us that doctors will discover the cause and it can be
treated. |

VICTORIES: Parking Lot Dev.
Update Two years ago we began raising money
to build a very much needed parking lot on the field next to
us. First we built a VERY expensive retaining wall along the
outside edge of our property - that was done! Then, we
raised additional funds for geologist, engineers, permits,
etc. - that was done! Finally we needed to raise an
additional $7,500.00 to concrete it - We are thrilled to
announce that we’ve raised most of that and should have it
finished in the next two months - before we return on
furlough. If you’d like to help with the final amount, we
still need to raise $2,100.00 Please mark it - “Walkers:
Parking Fund”

BLESSINGS: 2009
FAMILY CAMP
Thank you so much for your prayers - our 2009
Family camp was a HUGE success this year with
several adults and youth saved. Maine Manu, a
man we had been praying for for some time
received Christ on the second night, and the
rest of his family throughout the week.
