Dear Precious Precious Family,

I was just sitting here taking in the last few weeks, and realizing how blessed and loved we are!! The weeks have flown and it seems impossible that we have enjoyed celebrations, family, and friends in such a short space of time. We have had some major milestone in our lives through the years, but this month has brought us through a couple of really Good Ones!! First up, our 40th Wedding Anniversary!!

Our children pulled off the biggest and best celebration we could have ever dreamed!! I wish we could just sit and share the whole thing together, but you’d be here awhile. One of the highlights would have to be the surprise visit of our youngest son, Jason, and two of Randy’s sisters!! We are still walking around in a daze, but a nice one.

Early in the month we were given the news that Randy’s cancer is in “remission.” We know that everyday for all of us is a gift, but some how his is even a more precious gift to us!!

Last Sunday, 7th September, was Father’s Day for us here in Australia, and another milestone. Randy preached for the first time in 3 months!! That had been his goal and prayer, and God brought it all together. Plus we had one young dad saved!! Chris, the young man that was saved, has been coming along, and he was ready!!

Our lives have been on a bit of a roller coaster ride this year, but God continues to bless, and use us for His glory – and for that we are truly grateful!! You are a major blessing to our lives and we are so blessed to call you family!! We pray for you as you faithfully pray for us!!!
